Is it ok to hire a Nanny for your Disney vacation? (YES! and guilt-free please!)
If you, just like me are a parent, you probably recall taking (Or thinking of taking) your kid(s) to a Disney park/hotel, etc... thinking "What a fun time it's going to be!".
If you, just like me are a parent... You also know it never really happens how you planned it (We are all humans!) And most times it's the complete opposite, kids turn into tiny out of control humans, "My legs hurt, I want a snack, I don't want to do this, I'm scaaaaaared!" let's not even talk about the potty breaks along with screams and cries nonstop. (They can be the longest minutes of your lives sometimes) Any parent, of any kid.
Then comes the "parental guilt" "What did I miss? Where did I go wrong? Am I not strong enough to handle him/her/them? Why am I so tired? Where is my patience?!"
If I told you there is a way to keep your magical day, well... Magical?! (Isn't it the point after all?)
That's why I recently met with Shannon Albrecht, President & Founder of Nanny-Land®️, LLC.
Shannon's story inspired me, from why she created Nanny-Land®️, LLC to how thousands of families are getting the help they deserve!
As a "seasoned nanny" as she calls herself, (28 years of experience and a lifelong Disney fan) Shannon created Nanny-Land®️, LLC from her own personal needs. If she needed it, maybe many other parents did. After all, Disney vacation can become very stressful.
And she was right!
What touched me in Shannon's story is the importance she and Nanny-Land®️, LLC give to each family, from parents just wanting a break or single parents to disabled parents or parents with ASD children (Autistic Spectrum Disorder)
It's the world's only Nanny Agency specializing in Nannies at Disney! (Meaning ONLY helping Disney vacationing families)
And number 1 preferred Childcare for Disney Cruise Lines!
They assist families with their little ones. It could mean at a Disney resort after a long day at the parks if Moms & Dads want to enjoy a dinner, or simply staying near the parents at the Disney park and avoiding this overwhelming feeling it can sometimes bring.
They also, just like our 3 favorite good fairies, bring ideas to the table and make suggestions to help plan the day and answer questions with a dedicated team!
I mean look at it this way, you have prepared your Disney Park day for months, you only have a few days at the parks and you don't get to ride your favorite ride because little Mathilda here even with her Cinderella plastic heels is only 32 inches... Bummer! That is also another reason why Nanny-Land®️, LLC will come to your rescue most sweetly and safely! (And NO it's not selfish)
Parents, rest assured that your little or bigger bundle of joy will not sit there watching you and waiting for you with a tear rolling down their eyes, they are in for some FUN!
While you get the thrill of a sensational rollercoaster, the nanny will make sure there are plenty of things to do, always by your instructions and approvals. It could be meeting a character, riding a height-appropriate attraction, or hanging out by the pool at a Disney resort & more! (For which they are also certified!)
I want to insist that hiring a Disney Nanny should remain guilt-free, your needs are your needs and they will be respected judgment-free! Hiring a Disney nanny is also not only for the Kardashians or "rich" families (But they are equally welcome:), Kim if you read us...)
But now I want to get a bit more serious by putting the accent on a subject that touches me personally.
I mentioned ASD children earlier, well Shanon agreed to share with me that her 7-year-old son is also an ASD child, and Shanon herself had a disability which made going to the parks together quite challenging.
This is why Nanny-Land®️, LLC has an extremely good understanding of the parent's needs and will make this magical day safe and memorable for the entire family!
They bring extra attention to the children's needs and personalities.
Warming up is always a little challenging but at the end of their adventures, nannies and kiddos are usually BDF (Best Disney Friends)
I asked Shannon (who gets her inspiration mainly from her son and other entrepreneurs), who her favorite Disney Character was and the answer was so touching and part of her own story.
She picked Mrs. Jumbo (Dumbo's mother), and they share the story of the difficulties of conceiving when after quite some time, life gifted both of them with adorable sons.
Nanny-Land®️, LLC even opened on Mrs Jumbo's birthday! (January 6th!)
This is how Disney can be such an inspiration even to adults !
I will tell you from experience, that a rested parent is a better parent and I encourage every family to get the help of Nanny-Land®️, LLC for their park visit & the best memories ever!
It always all depends on the situation, of course, sometimes the nanny's help feels more welcome than others but I can only recommend trying and seeing for yourself!
I love when companies are the fruit of a personal story, it makes everything feel so much more "human", I love a company that doesn't see a dollar sign in our children and manages to create a real relationship and beautiful memories with them.
To conclude this article and even if you already saw it in the title, the answer to the question "Is it ok to hire a nanny for your Disney vacation?" The answer is still yes, more than ever!

XOXO
